 "My work reflects my spirit, my inner self, reacting and responding to strong, inbred forces which call constantly for reform, renewal and transformation.  Each ceramic creation is distinctive with a life of its own. I am motivated by a philosophy of intellectual curiosity which seeks to learn, even though it is based on a clear and firm knowledge of my craft. And so, my work and I are constantly changing in a spirit of freedom to experiment, to change direction, to discover new and improved ways of wielding and manifesting the beauty of clay."
